Slim's Chicken (Lincoln)

Omaha's Finest (Omaha)

More than 10 Nebraska men's slow pitch teams competed at national championship tournaments from late August to early September, with two finishing runner-up.

At the USA Softball Northern D National in Topeka, Kansas, Omaha's Finest (Omaha) went 5-2, finishing second to PGI/First Watch/Berserk out of Kansas City. They will be automatically bumped to C nationally next year after their runner-up finish.

At the USA Softball Northern E National in Mankato, Minn., Slim's Chicken (Lincoln) went 6-2, finishing second to New Era out of Six Lakes, Mich. They will be automatically bumped to D nationally next year after their runner-up finish.

T's 13 (Omaha) competed at both the USA Softball A and B National in Oklahoma City. They finished 2-2 in both, good enough for seventh in A and fifth in B.

In the USA Softball C National, also held in Oklahoma City, MAT/Wahl Optical went 4-2 to finish fourth. More than likely that position will earn them an automatic bump to B, but that is not official as of yet.

The A, B and C nationals all return to Oklahoma City in 2021, while the D moves to Bismark, N.D., with the D national scheduled for Topeka.
